INDIA-ONE OF THE LARGEST POPULATION HOLDER COUNTRY AROUND THE GLOBE IS UNDER REPEATED SCRUTINY THESE DAYS.PEOPLE ACROSS THE WORLD ARE QUESTIONING INDIA'S DEVELOPEMENT.AND WE STUBBORN PEOPLE ARE BUSY IN OUR RAT RACE.FOREIGNERS HAVE STARTED COMMENTING ON US. THE TIMES MAGAZINE IS A RECENT EXAMPLE.COMMUNALISM CONTINUES TO BE A MAJOR THREAT TO INDIA'S DEMOCRACY.THERE ARE MANY COMMUNAL RIOTS TAKING PLACE ALL OVER INDIA.POVERTY IS ANOTHER CASE.TODAY THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE RICH AND THE POOR HAS WIDENED TO A LARGE EXTENT.IT'S TRULY SAID THAT THE RICH GETS RICHER AND THE POOR GETS POORER.ON ONE BRIGHT SIDE THERE STANDS A BUSINESSMAN WITH AN AUDI AND A FERRARI & ON THE OTHER DARKER SIDE A BEGGAR IS STRUGGLING TO SUSTAIN IN THIS ENVIRONMENT.HOWEVER WITH ANTI CORRUPTION MOVEMENT HIGHLIGHTING ITS IMMENSE IMPORTANCE THESE DAYS,BRIBING IS REDUCED SOMEHOW.THEN COMES POLLUTION.THE UNWISE USE OF TECHNOLOGY HAS RESUTED IN POLLUTED RIVERS,INCREASED SOUND LEVELS,CONSTANT DUMPING ON ROADS,etc.ON MY RECENT VISIT TO MATHURA ,MY EYES WENT WIDE WHEN I SAW BUFFALOES FLOATING IN YAMUNA RIVER.HORRIBLE!!THE CONDITION IS EVEN WORSE WITH OUR TRADITIONAL INDIAN VILLAGES.STILL WE CAN WITNESS EXTREME CASES OF DOWRY,CHILD MARRIAGE,UNTOUCHABILITY,CHILD LABOUR,KILLING OF NEW BORN GIRL CHILD,etc.MAHATMA GANDHI WOULD HAVE CRIED HIS HEART OUT AFTER SEEING THIS HOORIBLE CONDITION OF INDIA.WITH NEW THINGS CONSTANTLY SURPRISING US IN INDIAN POLITICS EVERYDAY,INDIA CAN GO NOWHERE.THE ENTIRE NORTH INDIA SUFFERED A SERIOUS BLACKOUT DUE TO GRID FAILURE RECENTLY.PROBLEMS AND ISSUES ARE MANY BUT THEY ARE NOT UNSTOPPABLE.ATTITUDE MAKES A DIFFERENCE.WE WILL NOT RAISE THE VOICE THEN WHO WILL??INDEED WE WILL HAVE TO BRING A REVOLUTION 2020 HERE.IT'S A HIGH TIME AND THINGS ARE RAPIDLY CHANGING AROUND THE GLOBE,SO WE NEED TO CHANGE TOO.IT STARTS HERE.WE WILL SHAKE THE WORLD.OUR DREAM INDIA WOULD BE FREE FROM ALL THE ILL DEEDS.THE BRIGHT AND BETTER FUTURE OF THE COUNTRY LIES IN OUR HANDS.THE DAY IS NOT FAR WHEN INDIA WILL AGAIN BE NICKNAMED AS 'BIRD OF PARADISE'.
