Becoming a bodyguard of our motherland earth

Although this might appear childish to you,but here i am back again to share my views on the touchy topic of  protecting our environment.(I know we all have disscussed  this in our early education system but still no one is following ).Please everyone, it's a humble request,  bring some important changes in your lifestyles.(If possible-however most of them are).
  • First of all,we need to use water judiciously. We are already aware of the fact that only 1% is available for our usage.'Save each and every single drop of water' should be our motto.Otherwise a famous line from a very famous poem will come true' Water water everywhere not a drop to drink',will come true which is something we definitely don't want to happen.
  • Eco friendly vehicles needs to be promoted on a large scale. In our daily lives too we must make sure that we are using bicycle for travelling a shorter distance.(Though distance can be covered on foot as well).Automobile exhausts, being the main source for air pollution, the dependence on petrol and diesel needs to be minimised.
  • Deforestation needs to avoided on a large scale.(After all our environment is our topmost priority rather than our short term benefits). In contrast more and more afforestation should take place.
  • Energy consumption needs to be minimised to a convenient limit. For instant nowadays the increased use of CFCs used in refrigerators and ACs is depleting the ozone layer-our robinhood.Morever since the burden on non renewable souces of energy is increasing, the renewable sources should come in action. This will not only minimise the pollution level but also prevent coal and petroleum from getting exhausted.
I think that's enough for today.Although steps are many but i strongly believe they only will change a lot.Am i right or AM I RIGHT??
