The ashes trophy-do or die

'Do or die'-this doesn't hold true for australia as one of the most prestigious trophy is in the hands of england now. With the fifth test still going on,the england team is leading 3-0.However the ongoing five test match series between england and australia has been a bit controversial this time. With poor umpiring decisions frequently affecting the game, the fans witnessed the things ending in an obnoxious way on the field.Pressure has mounted on all four umpires who have stood during the ashes series namely Aleem dar,Kumar dharamsena,Marais erasmus and tony hill.(I wonder why they joined this profession).Who is to blame?? Clearly the whole panel of umpires needs to be restructured. There is a urgent need to review this panel as some of the shocking things occured on the field during the greatest battle of the tests.Simon taufel, one of the respected umpires has never officiated with this trophy.(Can i ask why??).With this perfect decision maker on the field, the situation would have been different.
Another major problem that was encountered during this trophy was that the ' Hot spot' (which uses infrared cameras to determine wheather the ball has struck the bat or not) failed to pick up the edges on many occasions. So the owner is trying to push the blame on to the players by suggesting that the tape used by the batsmen is proving to be a hindrance for this technology.(And so they want bat coverings to be removed).Someone please tell that technology owner to stop blaming the cricketers for it.Instead he should make a better product that could be used in the future and avoid making useless comments like this.
Cricket is a very respected game around the globe so such problems needs to be taken care of in a systematic manner, otherwise the game will lose its charm.
