Life of a student !!

The life of a student is certainly not a bed of roses. Let us begin this journey. Let us say Mr. M was born in a very nice family. There had been intense celebrations in his domain at that time. The male side was bursting crackers while the female side was busy in the kitchen making sweet dishes for all the entire colony ( because of which one of the locality member even referred them as elites ). And why not ?? After all Mr. M was the apple of their eyes. His journey on the surface of the earth begin. He took his stroll to school, made friends, enjoyed sports, blah, blah, blah. Everything was just icing on the cake, but then he impinged with the teenage, which meant more and more subjects added to the already packed schedule of five or six subjects.

Now with all due respect to all the parents, who always are our true mentor, and remembering the fact that whatever they say is for our own benefit only, here are a few points ( in context to Mr. M) , i would like to share with you ( which i believe are the famous dialogues prevailing in all the sectors of the society).

  • When Mr. M reached class 10, his parents said ," Hey M, study is the only priority you should have this year. Forget telly for this entire year. You can enjoy afterwards in the forthcoming years."
  • When Mr. M reached class 11,( and supposing that he opted for engineering or medical) his parents advised ," Hey M,  study is the only priority you should have these two years. Forget the mobile phone for these two years. You can enjoy afterwards in the forthcoming years."
  • When Mr. M qualified for a prestigious college, his parents were again for his rescue," Hey M, i know you are a bright student, so why don't you opt for the best ?? Prepare for GRE or CAT or GATE or whatever you are interested in. You can enjoy afterwards in the forthcoming years ."
  • Now Mr. M qualifies for the job( after cracking CAT of course), but alas !! where is the enjoyment which his parents were referring to ?? From 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. , his job is really sucking his blood out of him.

'Enjoy'-the word Mr. M has forgotten in the long run, after being overburdened by responsibilities. He is far from enjoyment now. His sudden transformation to a nerd is a galvanic fact in itself. Again i would like to say that i am not acting sarcastic and this blog is only meant for entertainment purpose. But certainly i would like to ask my readers, " Do you see yourself in Mr. M ?? "
