There are many seasons prevailing in India but the veritable ones are these two.
Well I am slightly more inclined towards the chilly winters than the scorching
summers. When I was a kid, summer used to be my favourite one (only because of
the long lasting vacations), but recent happenings have changed my perception
towards this season.
You do realize
the impact of frequent power cuts in your sweet home nowadays. Just imagine
this intense power packed situation. You are watching 'Non-Stop'(2014). (Sorry
to mention the year can't help it!!) You are showing intense signs of
deliriousness minute after minute. (The movie is a suspense thriller after all).
And suddenly your lappi needs 'glucose'. (Not to worry! I will plug in the
charger). But alas! There is no electricity in the house. (Not to worry!
Inverter is there). And then your mother informs you that the MOSFET enabled
device is also discharged! Icing on the cake!! And then you start seeing things
more clearly. You were sitting without even a fan since noon. (Happens with
everyone. I am the prime witness in this case). The increased use of
chlorofluorocarbons in this season adds to depletion of ozone layer (See one
eco-friendly point too). Then if you consider yourself a prudent one, then you
will certainly avoid going out in 48 degrees unless you are a die-hard fan of
vitamin-D. There is a significant increase in the different types of diseases
in this season too.
Then let’s switch gears towards the
winter season where the chief disadvantage is that you have to wear layer after
layer. (Vest+ t-shirt + shirt+ sweater + coat). And soon you transform into a
120 kg giant in the morning carrying tones of clothes on your body. The mere
thought of having a bath intimidates you and brings a chill down to your spines
(I am sure many agree with this). Then the truculent fog just adds to the
misery. However the requirement of electricity is less and a hell lot of energy
is saved.
Well i have presented
my opinion. What's yours??
