India in the aggressive gear !!

Well, to start with-a great performance by the youngsters. India’s first series win on Sri Lankan soil after 22 years is a historic one, the previous one being in 1993 which the team won by 1-0. Now this is a victory worth celebrating. A 3-0 series win would have been a icing on the cake, but the downfall of batsmen in the fourth innings of first test match destroyed that cake. However, the team bounced back aggressively and won the successive two matches. The series was constantly in the headlines, whether it was Shikhar Dhawan ruling out of the last two matches due to fracture in his hand or the amazing performance shown by Ashwin (21 wickets throughout the series) or the brilliant century by Pujara in the last match or Amit Mishra's transformation from a pipsqueak to a prodigious one or Ishant Sharma's quibble on the field (which eventually led to one match suspension), all have contributed to a great 'masala news' for the channels.
However this series proved to be a turning point in the carrer graph of Virat kohli. He led India to maiden test series win under his captaincy. According to me, Virat Kohli means aggression. Aggression is something Kohli wants to instill in the Indian side because he simply wants the best. He doesn’t want to lose. He wants to win each and every single match for india. And to win, you have to be aggressive on the field otherwise your opponent will crush you and move forward without having a second thought. He has been very clear, throughout (right from the start, he emphasized the need for 5 bowlers), to have 5 bowlers on the side. " If you want to win a test match, then you have to take all the 20 wickets". And in fact, his bowlers have backed his statement. The tremendous effort shown by the bowlers fetched them all the 60 wickets in three match series against Sri Lanka. He is aggressive with the bat too. (Recently became no. 1 in ICC T-20 rankings). "With great post, comes greater responsibility". Several bigger series lies ahead, let's see what's in the store for India??
And yes, Anushka Sharma is happy nowadays. (After the debacle of Bombay Velvet, she has got something to cheer for !!).
