Well,
I just want to compare the two famous tourist attractions of our country- Delhi
and Bangalore. The former being the national capital while the latter being the
IT hub of our country with an ostentatious amount of offices. Let me tell you, I
have spent time in Delhi and currently I am in Bangalore, so i can pretty much
write on this topic. Here are some of the areas which I would like to compare:-
- Climate- If you living in Delhi right now, I can feel your pain. I mean the situation must be really catastrophic out there owing to the obnoxious weather. I mean 45 degree Celsius is not a joke. However the situation out here in Bangalore is really cool. At first, I was flabbergasted over the fact that sun rarely shows up here. The temperature is always moderate and this is by far the biggest advantage of living in Bangalore. A strong gust is flowing nowadays and you just can’t manage without a quilt.
- · Food- If you are a North Indian, then you will regret living in Bangalore (just like me). You will literally reject 8 out of 10 items from the menu. Chapattis are a rare commodity here and people rely mostly on rice. In fact there are plenty available to choose from- Lemon Rice, Tomato Rice, Fried Rice, Jeera Rice (and this is just the veg. list). You will certainly miss samosas and other spicy stuff which is readily available in Delhi.
- · Traffic-The biggest drawback of Bangalore. In order to reach a distance only 20 km away, you need 3 hours (Sorry at least 3 hours !!). Buses are the major source of transportation here and at times you will lament over the fact that why don’t you own a bus (So much business !!). In Delhi you will get traffic too, but unlike Bangalore, you will not get stuck in the traffic for so many hours.
- · Jio- Yes Jio (Can’t believe I am comparing it!!) The jio connectivity is very very poor in Bangalore. So if you have a jio simcard, just throw it in the dustbin and look for another connection, which means saying goodbye to all the good offers provided by Mukesh Ambani. However jio works fantastic in Delhi. The audacity shown by jio is certainly missing in Bangalore.
- · Pollution- Another plus point of Bangalore. In spite of the fact that there are so much greenhouse gases prevailing in Bangalore, the pollution is just minimal. Let me tell you why. Firstly the climate is very favorable. All the particulate matter which is present in the air (PM 2.5 or less) owing to construction work or from vehicles is dispersed soon, owing to the wind factor. Secondly there is so much greenery here (Attract rains). You will find ample amount of trees and inordinate amount of plants here. However both points mentioned above don’t work for Delhi- Rare rains + No greenery.
So
you see, three out of five points mentioned above work in favor of Delhi while
other too in favor of Bangalore. Still I would say that both places have their
own pros and cons. I have certainly tried to minimize the obfuscation
present. Choose wisely if given a
choice. (I wasn’t given that !!).
