Money 'can' buy happiness

"There is no nobility in poverty, I have been a poor man and I have been a rich man. I choose rich every single time"-Jordan Belfort (The wolf of Wall Street).
‘Money cannot by happiness’ is the evergreen dialogue which we often hear in our daily lives. Well, let me tell you the ones who mutter this dialogue, are often rich. So is money really important?? My answer-100 percent. Just imagine your life without money-it’s a nightmary experience. The ramifications which you will have to face, will be tumultuous. You want to know how important money really is? Ask the question to a person who lost his/her job during the financial crisis of 2008 or to a small scale worker, who lost his job during demonitisation.
First of all the basic thing- Money provides you food, shelter and clothing without which the survival is next to impossible and inexplicable.
Some people say that the only comfort which money truly provides is that, you don't have to worry about money at all. And believe me this comfort is essential for survival on this planet. It’s a very conscientious thing to say. If you have money in your bank account, take a chill pill and spend it whenever you want, wherever you want and however you want.
However I agree, that with increasing salary, priorities change, lifestyle changes and the need to buy more increases. Let me demonstrate by an example.
John is a 25 year old man working in a MNC. His present salary is good enough. He works really hard for the organization and within 5 years his efforts bore fruit and his salary is increased. Now he decides to shift from his PG to a 2-BHK flat (rented). Another salary hike and he decides to dump his two wheeler-Activa and goes for a wagon-R. Another hike. This time he dumps his Moto g5 plus and goes for i-phone 10. Another one, and this time he decides to buy his own 3-BHK flat and hires a servant in order to finish the daily chores. (Work load is inversely proportional to peace factor!!).
The cycle goes on and on and by now you would have understood what i am trying to convey. The lust for money increases day by day (you might even transform into someone who is rapacious) but the situation appears to be stable. Whether you want a salary of six figures with less peace or you want to remain exultant (less salary with more peace)-you decide, after all it is your life but let me remind you, the above mentioned situations are far better than a person whose situation is lousy at the present moment, as he is just sitting idle at home without a job and without having enough to pay his bills.
So let me sum up for you-Money is good-more or less you decide but it is certainly better than no money at all.
