PEACE AND VIOLENCE

Peace and violence are two words whom we often encounter in our daily lives.Every situation can be solved with these two words. While the former involves no mass killing , nor hurting anyone, the latter is opposite and involves brutal and intense reactions and often leads to hazardous effects and even to a catastrophe. But the question arises is it necessary to use the second method??Is it really unavoidable??Of course it is.We know that. That's why mahatma gandhi survived the battle and accomplished the tedious task of fighting the britishers by his principle of non violence and satyagraha. But we the people have a tendency to bring fight in every single matter.Let's take another example of emperor ashoka. Before the kalinga war he was a different man but after he saw the horrible battle field of kalinga war, where thousands and thousands of dead bodies were lying,he was completely transformed. He encouraged 'ahimsa dharma' in the later part of his life.In practical situations can't we turn off the violence?? Why the human race, the best of god's creations has been so deeply divided by violence?? Many great leaders and other personalities have been shot dead in the past and the incident of 26/11 is unforgettable. Will it ever stop??
Just look at the nature around you and you will surely fall in love with it.God's grace is constantly pouring down on the mother earth. It is so calm and perfect and violence destroys everything. It arises because of our inability to control certain negative aspects of our behaviour including ego, anger, greed, etc. So it is important to plant optimistic thoughts in our mind.A society prospers if its members are in peace and harmony with each other. If two interconnected nations can live in peace, then why can't we?? Friends it is important to flush out violence from our lives and bring peace. Then only can our country shine.
